Diverse Property Management

On June 4th 2021, the contractor came over to look at the project. On June 13th, he sent us the quote of $2825. (HST incl.) We accepted the quote and as requested we e-transferred 50% which represented $1412.50 deposit to secure the job.
We were promised that the work would be completed by the end of July. After many email exchanges, the date was postponed to the latest end of August. End of August comes, still no word from the contractor. September 1st, I sent an email asking when will the work be performed. September 7th, he tells me that the material has been ordered but it is
back-ordered by the manufacturer. On September 7th, he offers to refund
my deposit of $1412.50. On September 8th, by email, I asked that my
deposit be refunded by e-transfer. September 13th, 17th, 20th, I sent him emails to find out why my refund has not been processed. On September
27th, by email, I offered the contractor to let me know if he needed
special payment arrangements, if he needs more time to process my
refund. As of today, October 1st, he is still ignoring my calls and emails. The contractor’s voice mailbox has been deactivated. I strongly believe that this company is non reliable and is taking advantage of honest people. My next steps are to visit his published business address to see if it’s legitimate and then, I will hire a Collection Agency to find out if I can recover my deposit.

I have one request for Home Stars. If you can help me to reach out to
this Company, since it’s one of your clients, it would be greatly
appreciated. Furthermore, I would expect a response (by email) from your customer service department to discuss this issue furthermore. After all, you are the first contact made to help me find a reliable contractor for my project.

Matt and his team really delivered at every stage of the work we had done at our rural home. We had some paving that needed to be repaired and resurfaced. We have a very long driveway on our 2 acre property.

From initial estimate to finished job, Diverse Property Management was very professional and worked within our schedule and our budget. We are now considering some interlock stones for a front walkway based on the quality of their work.
There were no surprises and we would highly recommend them for any residential home project.

Matt is very pleasant to deal with. He responds to e-mails quickly and answers my questions. The material and the installer showed up as he promised and the work was completed very quickly. I'm very satisfied with the end result. Gorgeous.

Matt does great job of estimating and trouble shooting, making suggestions and making sure his clients are happy. His team has great design and construction skills, they do a beautiful job with a clean up after. They re also very pleasant to have around, friendly and courteous. We happily recommend them to our neighbours.
