Our old front steps were broken and shifting so I contacted Homestars. Nuno of Vintage Concrete responded promptly and we had an open and pleasant discussion about how to best construct the news stairs.
His team removed the old ones, built footings, and constructed the wooden forms for the concrete. Work was delayed for a week due to rain but Nuno covered the work with a tarp to protect our foundations.
When the rain stopped, he poured the concrete and added a textured finish to the surface to give a good grip for walking. It also looked very nice! When the concrete was dry, his team cleaned the site and power washed the existing porch and the stairs.
We are very pleased with our handsome new porch steps (see photo). Thank you, Nuno!
