The worse experience ever! In my whole time with them, I felt I was dealing with a mafia, not a contractor.
I was looking for a contractor to renovate my whole kitchen. Jeff the Egoal Kitchen told me they could do everything; and I paid more than half of the cost, $9000 as requested. So far, I never even got a receipt or any contract as he promised.
Before they started, I realized this was a company with only 2 people, doing cabinet only. The rest of the reno work, I either had to find people to do myself, or pay them extra, as they had to go out to find reno workers just like us. So I asked the money back, as I needed a contractor to do all the work, not just the cabinet. Jeff refused, stated he would deduct a $1500 administration fee! I did not even get a receipt after he took my money, and he asked for a huge money for an administration fee! You see, once he got the money, he got the power to control you and you had no say.
To avoid losing money, I had to go with them. The worse was to happen. During the process, the word I heard from them the most was "It is not our job; we only do kitchen cabinet". So they put the cabinets directly to a messy wall, as it was not their job to prepare the wall. A piece of wall covered by tiles before --- they refused to cover with tiles now, and would leave it as is... a total mess. Seeing them do all the wrong thing right under my eyes, I requested them to correct, they refused and fought. They were young and strong physically, and had no fear to fight with customer. Eventually, annoyed by my request, they left with work undone, and the cabinets all over the floor. Now I lost all the money, and had to find another contractor. What a disaster!
