Do not hire this man. He is beyond dishonest! I received an estimate of a little over 60,000 from Marco25,000 for his labour and the remaining for all the bathroom stuff. He seemed very personable, said all the right things and I honestly wanted to give the job to a young guy starting out in such a tough business. Ive never made a bigger mistake. This man took an additional $50k plus. He refused to provide any receipts although he was repeatedly asked for them and continued to send invoice after invoice and threatened to put a lean on my home. I paid him as I felt I had no choice. He further told me he did not care about any repercussions as he was dissolving his company. Last straw was his invoicing me almost 6k for a glass shower door which he received payment for in full, and then I received a call that he cancelled it, and they would only deliver if I paid for it. I paid for the shower door. The invoice they provided was for a little over 2.5K. I paid him almost 6,000 for this door. It ended up costing me 8,000 thanks to him not forwarding any money to the
glass company for a door that cost a little over $2,500. If you need any further reason to never hire him, he is also incompetent. He pulled the bathtub out without shutting the water main. This resulted in my kitchen being flooded. We were not home at the time so you can imagine the damage. Entire ceiling was ruined, the floor is still damaged as are my kitchen cabinets. Insult to injury, he did not correct anything and I was left without a kitchen for almost two months. I ended up painting it myself and cleaning it as I have a 6 year old and he was crying that Santa would not come in those conditions. I also cleaned all his junk from my hallway so I could put up a tree on Christmas Eve. You need more? Let me me provide. He charged me $1,000 per slab for 4 porcelain slabsnot sure this was the price given that he grossly overcharged me for the shower door but his crew dropped one slab and smashed it, the other one he cut wrong and left it outside unsecured and it also got smashed during a snow storm. He made me pay for one new slab claiming his crew dropped it due to interference from my dad. There was no interference as my neighbour observed entire incident and assured me that there was no interference. The slab was heavy and outside of what the gentleman who dropped it was able to carry. He misled me and his assistant was also untruthful by saying that she observed everythingclearly not true as she was inside with me on her cellphone. As I said, paid for yet another slab as I just wanted him finished and out of my home. That slab ended up being scratched and an off centre hole was put in it by his assistant who acknowledged she did so in error.

Again, he is dishonest and incompetent. Watch your wallet if youve already hired him, and look elsewhere if youre thinking about it. Anyone wanting to talk to me about him, more than willing to show you his handiwork via pictures, his over $50,000 in excess as what was on his contract.
