Our backyard was in desperate need of a professional landscaper. Everything was completely removed, dug out and replaced with new grass, patios stones and a beautiful garden. Derek and his team finished the job on time even though there was a massive error made on behalf of the company that we ordered the stone from. After laying a good proton of the patio stone, Derek called me saying that he wasnt happy with the product as some of it looked different than others. After looking at it myself, I agreed. Without any hesitation, they removed all of the patio stone they just installed, ordered new stone and did the entire job over again once it arrived.
I was extremely happy with the job done and with the group of workers. They work extremely hard and do an amazing job. At the time the job was completed we werent able to seal the stone, as it needed to breathe for a little while. Derek has now confirmed for me, as he said he would last year, he will be coming back with his crew to finish the job!
I will definitely recommend these guys to anyone in need of professional landscaping.

Cali Construction was recommended by a work colleague that was extremely happy with the job they did. Cali Construction did a large hardscape project at our house, including putting in a new stone front steps, a large landing, driveway border. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They took great care not to damage any existing trees and flowers. The property was cleaned up every night. I loved the customer service they are a hard working team and most importantly, they stayed within my budget. Highly recommend.

We Hired Derek at cali construction to complete the grading, landscaping and interlock work at a new build. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure dealing with his crew and himself. They were always punctual, clean, respectful of the neighbouring properties and very easy to work with. Derek was quick to make suggestions and come up with ways to improve certain aspects of the job on the fly which looking back were pivotal items. All around I would recommend Cali construction to anyone looking at improving there curb appeal. They are honest, respectful and easy to work with.

After interviewing 4 companies, we knew that Cali was the perfect match for us! Derek helped us design a new walkway, porch, steps and garden. He even dug our lawn out and leveled out the grass which was such a great idea! It wasnt in the plan but has made such a difference. We decided to add on a cover for our porch so we could have some shade and also be protected for the rain and snow as we enter our home. He designed a cedar roof with pot lights and beautiful wooden slats around our doorway.

Derek helped us every step of the way and kept us informed as things were being done. There were lots of decisions to be made along the way and we appreciated the open communication. Our cost stayed at what we agreed upon so there were now surprises (which is always our biggest fear). This all took about 2.5 weeks. The job site was cleaned up every night. Very efficient! We get so many compliments on the work Derek did. Cant wait to have Derek and his crew back to work on our next project!

Had drainage problems. Cali put in french drains and leveled the stones. Timely and efficient.

Derek and his crew are the best. I had water pooling in my backyard, above my patio so needed to install a weeping tile, dig the whole patio up, replace sand/dirt with clearstone and put everything back as it was, then reseed the grass area and make sure everything was graded properly. They nailed it. Super easy to work with, they listen and communicate clearly, get the job done right and on time and are a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend them enough.
