Northbound Roofing ltd

Northbound Roofing are nothing more than a group of hacks. Can you imagine taking from the mouth that feeds you, taking your customers material because they aren't onsite to babysit... They've been back to my roof twice. Ist time I was away on business in SC they laid down 22 sheets of 5/8 on a redeck and left, leaving my 50 sheets of 1/2" untouched. The 2nd time they put down 3 of 15 sheets of 5/8 on a my redeck Jeff decides to push off 12 sheets and transition to 1/2 plywood that I had, then they take 3 sheets home with them. What kind of complete moron would decide to scab in a 4x4 sheet of 1/2 plywood on the corner peak of the front roof when 95% of that side was done in 5/8??? The same complete moron who decided rather than use the customer supplied 5/8 plywood ( I told them both numerous times to finish the rest of the roof in 5/8 after they screwed it up the first time. He does 4' up on the rear roof and 16' on the 12/12 back roof and then uses 1/2" for 8' along the rear roof and in the valleys. I WAS A NICE GUY AND LET THEM TAKE BACK THE 12 SHEETS of 5/8 THAT THEY BOUGHT FROM HOME HARDWARE, then they leave with MY material that I paid for. This was a labour ONLY job. Every valley has a 2-3 gap in the new plywood that is only held together with ice and water and shingles. Jeffs explanation
Your house is old and isnt square we couldnt measure properly. I have nails exposed above the plywood 1/4 where the gun didnt shoot properly. When they left they took MY 3 bundles of 3 tab shingles, a few sheets of 5/8 and a strip or 2 of drip edge and whatever Mystique shingles were left and probably a couple of 1/2" sheets as well.
They both claim that they had to leave to buy more material and asked if I wanted to see the receipt. Which I have requested 5 times, still havent seen the receipt. If someone is accusing me of theft and I have proof to exonerate myself, I'm probably going to show it. They were supposed to return today to fix the ridge vent that they screwed up, and fix the exposed nails. No surprise that they didn't show, which cost me $1500 in lost wages, I'll be asking the court for that back as well.
I was in SC the first time they came and unfortunately had to leave 10am on the morning that they showed up the 2nd time. I didnt think that I had to babysit a guy and his crew with a supposed 17 years of experience
They were supposed to come back today to fix the ridge vent that they managed to screw up and fix the shingles with the exposed nails, no surprise they didn't show up. I'll be asking the court for the $1500.00 that it cost me to spend the day at home along with my extra expenses and the reimbursment of the whole roof job so it can be done properly. YOU MUST BE ONSITE TO BABYSIT JEFF AND HIS CREW. If they did this to me, imagine how many others they have screwed over and took material from? How many folks actually crawl into the attic to see what the roofing may or may not have done. I have LOTS of pictures to be added shortly!!
These are the clowns that Mike Holmes and the Graves brother make shows about. I did my due diligence, insurance, reviews, pictures, Northbound Roofing did nothing but take the cheap way out based solely on the fact that I was not present either time that they were here. I will be posting pictures shortly.
These guys start their companyin April of 2022 and are being sued for a job that they did in June of 2022....
