subpanel upgrade and whole house surge supressor
A new (to me) property had a large detached garage with a fused subpanel. Jeremy was responsive, made sure he understood the requirements, and quoted a good price for the project. He arrived promptly on the scheduled day, replaced the panel and cleaned up the work area. He was very patient about me watching him working and asking a bunch of questions. The same day he updated a 240 volt outlet for my wife's glass kiln -- i had given him the wrong spec for the fixture but he took it in stride and quickly procurred the correct item. He didn't leave until we had tested the kiln and made sure it was working properly.
The same day he gave us a quote for installing a whole house surge supressor but warned it would need to be installed outside of the main panel. After we gave him the go-ahead, he did additional research and found a solution that would fit in the panel. Once the part arrived, he installed it very quickly without cutting power to the house.
I am happy to recommend Jeremy for any electrical project. I will say it helps to be flexible on scheduling, as Jeremy tries to get to a job ASAP.
The day he installed the surge suppressor he was working another job in Markham that had a delay. He drove from Markham to Etobicoke just to do a quick install. Probably spent more time driving than doing the work.
Jeremy is very personable and an interesting person to talk to. If Pluto's cave was a real place and needed a lighting upgrade, Jeremy would be perfect for the job!
