Paid required down payment approx 3 mths ago. Still no activity. If contractor unable to do the work, he should be able to refund the downpayment.

I have e-transfered this client their deposit back. It's very unfortunate but I am completely weather dependent and because of all the rain we got in the spring, all of my jobs were delayed. Then, the day we met, I went and ordered the material from Home Depot but now it seems like they are having shipping delays. It's been 15 days since I ordered the materials. This is all out of my control. I completely understand your frustration and apologize. Having said that, it is clearly indicated in my quotes / contracts: "* Installation date may change due to material, labour shortages, weather or air quality.". Again Sorry I wasn't able to help.

Construct a replacement backyard deck

I found Stephane to be an excellent carpenter for my project. He had to remove an old deck and build in its place a new deck. He is very experienced in his work and offered me options for the new deck as well as responded to my suggestions. He completed the project on time and the price was excellent. I would highly recommend his services for any renovation work involving carpentry, such as deck projects.
