Joel helped us finish our basement last June/July, and from there has continued to come back to our house to finish off various other projects.

From the very beginning, Joel was professional and knowledgeable. He sent me the first quote for doing some basement finishings (painting, baseboards, drywall work, fireplace mantel, custom shelves, new lighting fixtures, etc.) and when I explained to him that I needed the project to be more economical, he totally understood and came back to me with a new quote. This new quote incorporated ideas to lower the price to get the project done. His work was so well done, we ended up having him install a railing on our deck as well.

Joel recently helped finish some odd-job projects that had been on my "would be nice to do" list, like re-caulking a bathtub, hanging a TV, swapping a ugly air vent for a pretty antique one, rehanging a curtain rod, etc. etc. etc.

Joel did our basement on a lump sum basis, and for the smaller jobs works on an hourly rate + materials. His pricing is fair and he's a good worker. He's super responsive and will find a time that works to get your project completed. I highly recommend hiring Joel.

I reached out to Joel at Rockwell to have a large pergola over my deck removed. Rockwell performed the work promptly, left the area clean and orderly, and their bill was as set out in the estimate they provided beforehand. I'd definitely use them again.

Joel did a great job with all the handyman things I needed done! He was able to put together all of the furniture I needed assembled, install lock panels, hang large pieces of art and fix a light fixture. He was efficient and knowledgeable and I will be using him again soon for some drywall and painting I need done. I highly recommend Rockwell Contracting!

Not enough stars for Joel. His communication skills are as excellent as his work. Id been dragging my feet on fixing my outdoor plugs since I bought my home and Im glad I waited because finding Joel was a pleasant surprise!!!! The pricing was fair, work was excellent and he is personable to boot. If you want to feel like someone cares about the work they do for you, then Joel is your guy! Definitely will be calling him for other projects!!!! Thanks again Joel !!!

Joel was referred to me and I am very grateful that he was. I am a first time homeowner and unsure about everything. I knew I needed a storm door, and some way to close off my deck. He gave me ideas for what I could do, examples of different types of doors in various price ranges and explained to me what he would do if he were in my position.
In the end I got exactly what I needed. A perfect door install and a new deck gate that matches the rest of the build.

He did such a good job that I asked him about his other skills and ended up hiring him to install a new laundry sink and the plumbing for it. It works great and I havent had any issues.

He is well worth his skills and I plan to hire him for more work in the future.

Joel was extremely efficient in repairing water damaged drywall and cabinets in our rental apartment. He completed the job quickly and seamlessly!
