Unacceptable Work, Property Damage, and Contract Violations
I am deeply disappointed with RODO CONSTRUCTION INC. and feel it is necessary to share my experience to prevent others from facing the same issues. The work performed on my property has been completely unacceptable, and the contractor has failed to honor our agreement.
1. Incomplete Work & Property Damage: The contractor left the job unfinished, causing significant damage to my home. The work done so far is incorrect and has been condemned by legal authorities. My basement has suffered serious damage due to their negligence. He did not do water proofing properly.
2. Contract Violations: The contractor failed to install the egress window as agreed in our contract, causing damage to my walls and property. They also installed the sump pump in the wrong location, which has caused further damage in whole of my basement. Waterproofing was not completed, and they left garbage around my property. Furthermore, the contractor did not apply for the necessary steps, despite assuring me that everything would be handled according to the rules and regulations with permit.
3. Fraudulent Behavior: After taking full payment, the contractor abandoned the project and has since ignored all my calls and messages. This is not just unprofessional but fraudulent.
This level of unprofessionalism has caused me significant financial losses and stress. To get the job done correctly by another contractor, I first need to repair the damage caused by RODO CONSTRUCTION INC., which will incur 3 times additional costs. All of this is a result of trusting this unethical contractor and paying him in good faith when he requested payment.
I strongly urge others to not considering RODO CONSTRUCTION INC. for any work.
I sincerely hope the contractor has enough integrity to refund my money and take responsibility for the harm done.
