828 DESIGN INC

My experience with 828 design was the worst professional service I have ever witnessed and poor quality of work. I was reluctant to leave this review because you never want to hurt someone's business but I tried reaching out countless times to figure out what's going on and now it's gone way too far.

My drawings needed a small revision in the laundry room to close out the final inspection with the city inspector. I offered payment and asked (even begged) several times to help but Venice completely ghosted me. Now I have to get all drawings redone just to capture a simple change in the laundry room (architectural drawings can't be altered without the permission of the architect, which 828 did not give). My money was completely wasted.

Furthermore, the drawings I received for my basement had 3 bedrooms in it but it was later determined to be impossible based on building code and review by my general contractor. I needed to follow up several times before the drawings were revised and received a ton of unnecessary pushback.

After submitting the permit for approval, I had to follow up with the city myself to understand the status. I later found out Venice was using an incorrect email when attempting to copy me in. An honest mistake I'll admit, but what made me disappointed was Venice's rudeness when I asked for updates and even threatening me with "legal action". I wasn't sure for what.

Overall, a very poor experience, I wouldnt want anyone to go through what I went through with 828 design.

I don't think she could have been more helpful.....she did not let one thing go every issue presented she addressed immediately and questions or concerns or hurdles I had or couldn't understand she handle to.Even after the product approval she still Continues to help me with her knowledge on things I question. Doing this for the first time I was and I don't think she could have been any more amazing.i could 20 out of 20 stars if I could. IF your building designing anything like that this IS the person you want handling it for you she's worth every dollar and more....toptop customers skills and services....very good at solving stupid issues to.

This year we have encountered problems with our basement door turned out it doesnt have a permit when it was build. I contacted some individuals to help me sort out the problems but none of them couldve help me. Thats when i met manroop of 828 design inc she helped us a lot and was so helpful, she handled everything smoothly and did everything she can and she was able to acquire the required permit and all the other necessary documents for us to fix the problem. Now the door has been rebuilt to proper specifications and awaiting for the approval from the city. Im really happy that I choose and entrust my problem to 828 design inc. Amazing services with 3D walk through model during entirely stage until building permit issued. Venice is very knowledge in both zoning and structural, which make entire process was very smoothly. She take care everything and response us on every our concern by details. Will definitely use her for next projects soon
