We hired Diako Air Comfort for HVAC needs based on a referral and also due to competitive pricing. However, we would not recommend them as we paid for ~95% of the ~$80k plus job, but after repeated attemps of contact and delays only ~50% of the services were completed. That said, if you do decide to go with them, I would caveat: 1) one reason the owner mentioned he wasn't able to complete the services is he recenty had significant employee turnover and was rebuilding his staff. I would scrutinize this "new" crew he sends to your site ie experience, qualifications, licensing; 2) they tend to request payments quickly. For example, the day the invoice is issued, they try to send someone to pick up. We found this a bit unusual at first as typically contractors give you a few days or longer for payment. They will always want payment ahead of services done - not an usual practice in the industry but I would caution against this to avoid the situation we are in; 3) it's not easy getting a hold of the owner. Expect a lot of phone tag; and 4) we're requesting a refund and have yet to receive it. That speaks volumes as a trusted and reputable company.
