Working with David from Filippelli Construction was easy, friendly, and professional. Besides being the owner, he's also the lead constructor. He understood my requirements, worked within my guidelines, and provided me with solutions for my ensuite remodel. His pricing was reasonable and comparable. His service was excellent. He took the time to keep the rest of my home clean while demolishing my old ensuite. Him and his crew did the majority of the work, but he called in other experts to do specialized trades - nice to see to see that even though one can do the work, it makes sense to call in experts to make sure things are done even better. David also ensured that I was happy with the work done. For example, he didn't like the way the shower floor looked, so and took the time and expense to make it right. When he came up with an obstacle, he and I would agree to a solution, instead of just hiding it or saying it cannot be solved. He's always looking at making it right. In the end, with his knowledge and skills, I got a new ensuite that met my needs and well within budget.

I bought a fixer-upper, knowing full well that the basement was likely beyond me. After I got a few quotes, I'd started to lose hope that anyone would listen to me about the bones that could stay and the rest that needed a lot of work. They provided inflexible quotes that didn't listen to what I wanted.

Dave listened to me 100% and provided exactly what I needed within a very decent budget. His workmanship is outstanding - noted by his very flexible approach in an older basement where he had to work around some existing bones.

He transformed my basement into a livable, comfortable, modern space. He communicated with me every day. There were no surprises, just exactly what he had promised on time and on budget.

Thank you Dave for your hard work and transforming a very sad space into a livable basement. I recommend this team to anyone looking for any work - not just basements - any upgrade to your house inside or out.

We are so grateful for the work Filippelli Construction completed in our grandmothers basement. The original downstairs kitchen was without a dishwasher and without a space for one. Another contractor told us it was too much of a hassle to remove existing cabinetry, run the needed electrical, and install a dishwasher but we luckily received a second opinion from Filippelli Construction who seamlessly got the job done. The mini renovation was done efficiently, with professionalism, and care and we couldnt be happier with the result.

Working with David and team took away all of the stress that can come with home improvements! David listened to what I needed and delivered quality work in a very efficient manner.

I have a smaller walk in closet and wanted to maximize the space and the built-ins David provided made a huge difference! They also made some wood stairs for 2 entrance into my garage that were previously a bit treacherous. Great workmanship and just a really nice team. Highly recommend for any home improvement needs!

A work colleague recommended me to hire Dave for this project and I am thankful for his suggestions. They were on time every day and their workmanship is outstanding. The ensuite was completely redone with new shower shape and size. Dave wonderfully installed the floor of the shower from 4 huge 24x48 tiles.
