Water dripping

On Tuesday, I was quoted one price and told only the hot water connector needs to be replaced which would cost me 100.00 and that he could do the job right away as he had parts in his vehicle. I was waiting on a second opinion and told Farooq that I will get back to him. On Wednesday, I told Farooq that the second opinion suggest that I replace the faucet. I agreed with HFA contractor that the faucet doesn't need to be replaced and offered him the job of replacing the hot water connector. After completing the job and I paid him, he insisted he told me $200.00 not 100.00; this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I would advise anyone dealing with this company to get a written quote, in print or audio. This review is based on the contractor doubling the price from the day before.
May 26/24 response to owner:
You either are dishonest or simply forgot what you quoted me. Had I known you would have doubled your quote I would have gotten the job done for a cost of $100.00. I offered it to you since you first came with the same quote after looking at it. First of all, the part replaced is not fixable and you did communicate anything to me MANY TIMES as you put it as I am not dumb. I enquired at the time if the cold water connector or anything else needs to be replaced when you initially inspect the job (as I needed the job to be done properly once) and you said NO it is fine but when I gave you the job to replace the hot water connector, you said the cold water connector should be replaced as well which I did go along with.

Approximate cost of services:
$200.00

Company Response

Sorry for the misunderstanding but the first quoted $100 without parts replacement . The job done we're replaced new parts and this was communicated many times that" if same parts just fix it $100 and if you wanna put new parts and labor will be $200."
