I hired John from Homestars. He came at the agreed time. I purchased a lock and needed him to install it, which he did. He was fast and efficient and I would highly recommend him.

John gathered the information necessary to provide me with a cost estimate for rekeying my deadbolts prior to his visit. He arrived on time and completed the work quickly at the agreed upon price. I would highly recommend John.

My front door lock and handle needed attention so I contacted A Perfect Pick locksmiths based on recommendations from Homestars. I was not disappointed. John was friendly, helpful in laying out options and accommodating as to scheduling an appointment. The work was done seamlessly. I had a deadbolt that needed replacing after my key broke off in the lock.
I called so many places online, as well as calling 3 actual locksmith stores in Toronto to do this "simple fix" and could not find ANYONE who would do the work for under $250+ and several quoted $450+ which struck me as ridiculous and usurious!!! I knew this job would take under half an hour! (which it did)
John was fantastic!! - He is a pro, a straight shooter, showed up on time and fixed the deadbolt immediately. Then I asked him to look at a second lock, which he also repaired. His price was exactly as quoted. I was so relieved to find an honest, "old school" serviceperson who did exactly
what needed to be done instead of making a big production out of it.
I recommend John and would call him again in a second!! (But hopefully I don't have to!)
