Our dryer had been squeaking badly for about two years. Two of our stovetop's electric coil burners had not been working for the past year. We didn't know any good appliance repair people - the one that our property manager recommended was going to charge us to come out and "diagnose" the problem, order the parts, and then come again to do the repair, with no guarantees that they were going to fix whatever was wrong!
