Very happy with the repair that they did to my refrigerator. Very professional, came when they said they would, explained what they were doing, couldn't ask for more. Would definitely use them again.

They showed up on time and completed the work in a very professional manner. The fellow they sent was very friendly and efficient.

Our Electrolux induction range suddenly stopped working and indicated an E15 error code. I called Peter who was busy but took the time to talk to me. He asked me to forward the brand, model and issue with our stove. Later that evening, Peter suggested a quick fix. In the past, this tip would had resolved the problem. However as Peter noted the next morning, it is a known issue with Electrolux/ Frigidaire. The E15 error code is just a general message indicating a communication problem with one of the numerous boards and/or connectors. He took time out of his schedule to give a professional & HONEST advice without the standard diagnosis fee whereas others would happily charge. Kudos to you Peter!

Max was great! He showed up 2 1/2 Hours after we called and described the problem with our furnace to him. He told us our options and the costs then replaced the part. Back to a heated home the same morning. Reliable, professional, fair. Recommended!!

My oven would not heat up to cooking temperatures. After I emailed Peter the details for my oven, he called me to let me know the two most likely problems, gave an estimate and let me know he would bring the required parts for both possibilities. So, no wasting time to order parts and return to install. Overall, very satisfied. Peter was very professional and careful with the entire repair.

Also gave me some advise on how to fix a damaged warning drawer and a small issue with my range hood.

Definitely would recommend to others.

UPDATE: I had previously reviewed Modern Appliance without having met Peter. However, because my oven stopped working altogether and the trick to get it started again didn't, I had to call Peter in. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The oven is working like a charm! Further, Peter appears to be trustworthy and a true professional. I will recommend him to anyone who needs his expertise.

SIX MONTHS AGO: I had an issue with my electric range and provided the error code to three companies, asking for an approximate cost to repair. I have not heard from the third, but the first company wanted to charge me almost $100 to provide me with an estimate at my home. Because this problem had occurred once before, I pretty much knew what was wrong with my appliance. So, I was pleasantly surprised when Peter called and, after a little clarification on my part, was able to solve my problem over the phone, therefore, costing me nothing. This kind of professional knowledge and honesty, in my mind, deserves to be rewarded by writing this review. You can rest assured that should the problem or any other happen again, I will be contacting Modern Appliance first. Thanks very much, Peter.
