Peter at Modern Appliance is now my hands down "go to" for repair services. I had tried without success to fix my washing machine using other repair service providers for more than 2 months. Peter was the person to finally end my frustration. He was fantastic and found the problem that others missed, quickly sourced the right replacement parts, and got my laundry machine working.

Our Jenn Air stove required a new control board. We thought about replacing the whole stove, however Peter said the gas stove was worth fixing for a fraction of the cost of a new one since it is considered a top-of-the-line gas range with electric ovens. It took a while to get the part as it does for a lot of things these days. Peter came and installed it in his usual expeditious manner and now we can use our dual ovens again and it only cost $900 instead of much more for a new one, the stove even looks new now.

My oven started lighting with a bang (scaring my wife half to death). With a single quick visit, not only is the problem solved but my oven preheats significantly faster than before!

We were very pleased with the service. Peter had a problem getting the correct part so he adapted it to one that worked.

For years I’ve depended on Peter to give sound advice when my appliances are acting up. He asks all the right questions by email to avoid unnecessary visits. He recently installed my dishwasher (after determining the old one wasn’t fixable) and I’m very comfortable knowing he did the job right so there won’t be problems.

Peter replaced the igniter on my oven as the gas was not lighting. After speaking to him on the phone, he determined the failing part and came prepared with the replacement.
