WORK DONE WITHOUT CUSTOMER'S CONSENT AND PUSHING SALES
On your receipt it says 'Straight Forward Pricing' and 'Satisfaction Guarantee' ...yet I felt like I got TAKING ADVANTAGED OF today. When I called to get a quote for the diagnostic service, I was told I would get a discount...When the technician came, no discount was applied for the diagnostic fee. But more importantly, the technician started to fix the furnace using $500+ parts WITHOUT MY CONSENT. They NEVER told me how much it was going to cost to get it fixed! Being a woman first time homebuyer, I felt very preyed on for my lack of knowledge! I should have been giving options and choices before they started to fix and 'forced' me to pay for it.
When with the new $500++ parts, the technician said the furnace can be out at any day. So shouldn't I have the rights and option to not put the new part in and look for alternatives? No words were mentioned about pricing or getting my consent on the work...now, I'm left with a LARGE BILL that I didn't agree on.
Extremely disappointed on the service and definitely felt taken advantage of today!
