The old cedar shingles we weather worn and needed replaced. We also installed new windows on the back half of the house, so the shingles were already torn away from the installation. The house is over 140 years old and you could feel the wind blowing in. I called Cuma to come and look at the work and he didn't even need to meet me. He provided a detailed quote of the work needed done with explanations of what was included. He wasn't pushy and really gave me a sense of his professionalism. Without even taking a deposit the scaffolding was in place and the work commenced. His crew worked hard and fierce to get the work completed. The results were amazing and we still have neighbours asking who did it and how wonderful it looks. The new stucco wall system now provides greater insulation, keep the hot sun out. The reduction in outside noise in the upper bedrooms had definitely improved. Looking forward to lower energy bills, I can see this investment paying for itself in time.
