We have had 2 service calls with AC in the past month. HK was the lead electrician for both projects. The first involved a short circuit in the service to our garage and HK checked all devices to determine the source of the problem and remediated the issue. The second call involved updating our pot lights in the kitchen and dining room as well as replacing an exterior security light and other minor items. In this case HK was assisted by Steven. The work was completed in an efficient and cost effective manner a very competitive quote. At the end of rehabilitation work the area was cleaned including kitchen counters and the floors vacuumed and wet mopped. The quality of work was excellent and the knowledge of the electricians was superior with all processes explained. Naser and Hamad from Your Home Electricians (AC Electrical) came when they said they would, were neat and personable, considerate to our two cats, and did excellent work despite some challenges presented by our older home (built in 1943). They replaced our out-of-code 100A panel and outside connection mast, installed two lights in our basement and two kitchen counter top outlets. It was particularly tricky to place the new outside mast in the required vertical position, but Naser figured out a way to do it.

I was supposed to write this long ago. The light installation was done perfectly and still stuck there without any issue. The crew was efficient and helpful throughout the process.

. Your Home Electricians do 'the little jobs' --like installing ceiling fans--that other electricians often won't do. The repairmen made sure that the fan mount bracket was securely installed, with two extra screws in the concrete. The fans did not need to be balanced, and are far safer than the ones that were replaced--those could not be balanced, and vibrated badly, and were in danger of falling from the ceiling. Peace of mind and safety were worth the cost and I give Your Home Electricians my highest recommendation for professionalism, punctuality, civility, and neatness.

This company does not offer quotes or ballparks up-front, though they accidentally did for me, which was not at all what the actual price was. The cost incurred was $99 to come to the house, and $129 per fixture (replacing existing basic, flush mount lighting fixtures). A two-hour visit cost nearly $700, which is a lot more than what Homestars itself claims is the average electrician fee ("fully licensed electrician can charge between $65 to $130 per hour, depending on the complexity of the job and their license type"). Obviously the price was well over twice that.

I appreciate that the management called back two and a half weeks after the initial voicemails that I left, to try to remedy my concerns.

This was work well done. The team took there time to listen to my concerns and when over costing with me prior to the work being done. Everything issue I had and provided a through explanation. Very professional and will use them again. My lights are up and extremely happy with there work.
