Trane AC and furnace installation
On May 6, 2023 at 1738 pm, I called Reliance customer service to notify that I wanted to avail their 100% money back guarantee when their equipment does not work properly. I requested for a confirmation number and/or email of our conversation and I was promised that I will receive one. However, I did not receive any form of confirmation/email. Reliance only started calling on May 15th when I requested BBB for assistance. On April 27th, the purchased Furnace and AC was installed. That same day, the AC started freezing and not cooling my house. An Installer came back on April 28th and said everything was fine and was working normally. He said that the AC started freezing because of the cold temperatures outside. When the outdoor temperature was 18-20 degree centigrade and indoor temperature was 22.5 degree centigrade. I then started cooling my house to 18 from 22.5 degrees. However, after running the AC continuously for 6 hours, the indoor temperature remained at 22.5 degree centigrade. I contacted reliance sales person via text, email and phone call when I started having issues with no success. I felt like getting rob after they received my payment. Contacting their resolution dept was also a frustration. The only one reason I gave them a star was because of their senior technicians who shows up and tried to fix the issues. Please see attached photos of their sloppy installation. My return duct was not done properly on my opinion. I can hardly open my humidifier because its getting blocked. The humidifier coil was not installed properly. I suggest you stay away from big companies if you want peace of mind and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
