You will see why i gave this rating when you need warranty service. Warranty is essential for window installation as issues only show up after some weathering. When I reported the issue of a leaking window, they just tried everything to avoid providing warranty service. After bugging them for 7 months, they came but failed to find the reason for the leak. I ended up climbing up to the roof to inspect the window myself. I found a defect in the sealing and fixed it myself. Would you give the save rating I gave?

Company Response

Hi Andrew,

According to our records and e-mails, the first time you contacted us was on February 3, 2019.
At this time, you mentioned that drops of water were coming into your house through the window due to what you described as "leaky flashing". We sent our installation supervisor to inspect this issue right away, and found out that all the sealing is perfect and there are no problems with the flashing of the window.
On July 25, 2019, you sent us an email saying "The window which was dripping last winter has not dripped again. I have checked the gutter and everything looks good... I think the window was not sealed properly... Please take advantage of the good weather and re-seal this window."
In the middle of August, we came again to see the window. We went to the roof to take a look at the window, as well as inside the house to check the insulation by taking off the casing and the window was insulated perfectly. We took pictures and videos of what we did and sent everything over to you.
Even after this, you still did not want to believe that there were, in fact, no problems with the insulation, and you said "I am sure it will drip again if the temperature changes from freezing to above freezing quickly."
We have a very professional team of installers who have been working with our company for the past 10 years, and we have a very good reputation with over 300 reviews and 3 time Best Business winners on HomeStars. We respond to any and every service call in the same manner, as we did with your case, so you were never "bugging" us. We were in touch with you and trying our best to help you during these past 7 months; this can be seen in our e-mail conversations.
We also did full-house jobs for 2 of your neighbors on your street and a job for a friend of yours who was referred to us by you; all of which have had no issues.
Unfortunately a bad review is not going to address the issues. We're doing everything we can to make you happy as a customer. However, if you still do not trust our word and would like to investigate this further, we suggest that you hire a home inspector to take a look at the insulation and installation of the window.
If the home inspector finds an issue with the insulation, we will do everything according to the inspector's suggestions, free of charge.

Best Regards,
New Look Team
