A year ago, on December 23 my kitchen pipes plugged up and despite best effects I could not unplug them. Upon a recommendation from a fellow condo dweller I called Plumbers Direct and Peter listened, looked at photos I sent to him and offered various solutions. We agreed on the best solution and within hours he dispatched two colleagues to replace the pipes under my sinks and clear the blockage. All assured me they would not leave until they were 100% confident the blockage was cleared and I could continue with Christmas dinner preparations. Everyone was thorough, polite and efficient. The quick response and resolution during a busy holiday period went a long way to calming me down. Recently I needed to have an IKEA kitchen faucet replaced with a better quality faucet in my mother's condo . Once again I called Peter, and again he responded quickly to my voicemail message, confirmed what I should look for and offered advice on questions to ask the manufacturer when I panicked about whether I had purchased an appropriate faucet. He arrived promptly in the morning despite horrible weather and traffic and was able to swap the faucet even though a small (but critical) piece was missing. Thankfully he had just the part that was needed, and all went well. Again, Peter was polite, professional, responded quickly and was very accommodating. Combined cost for both services was approximately $1,100.00. I highly recommend Peter Kozyriackyj and Plumbers Direct.

My SVEA cabinets are beautiful and functional. I discovered SVEA at the Home Show five years ago and dreamt of having a white SVEA kitchen ever since. When I committed to renovating my condo last fall, I immediately called Vlad. He and his team have been a pleasure to work with; they measured carefully, considered my needs, likes and dislikes, and made good suggestions on the configuration of my galley kitchen. Vlad offered practical advice and did not try to "oversell" anything to me. Vlad's installer, Oleg, was wonderful. He took great care with the installation, and together with the Vlad and his team resolved little "glitches" to my complete satisfaction. There was a small issue with one of the hinges and Oleg returned promptly to investigate and come up with solutions. Everything seems fine now, but Oleg has assured me that he will be back if I have any more problems because, as he put it, "it has to be right" and I must be "totally satisfied". I am having the best experience completely renovating my 1-bedroom downtown condo, and Roy Yanish from Invision Hardwood and Décor can claim much of the credit. I met Roy at the Spring Home Show. We discussed the Kentwood floating floor I was considering, and within days he came over to measure my place. (I wanted the same flooring throughout, with the exception of in the bathroom.) He immediately identified some potential problems and we discussed possible solutions, taking into consideration restrictions and requirements of my condo Board of Directors. Roy waited patiently for months while I hummed and hawed about colour and searched for a General Contractor (he helped me with this too). Just as we were getting closer to the installation date, Roy came up with a solution that saved me about $1,000 – all on his own initiative! Installation of the flooring and baseboards was done carefully and efficiently. I didn’t originally want wooden floors, but now that I see the end result, I am thrilled. I love my floor, and highly recommend Roy and Invision Hardwood to anyone looking for flooring specialists. They have a wide selection of beautiful products, excellent pricing and superb service.
