During Calgary's 2024 summer heat wave my 92 year old mother's AC decided to take a break on a Saturday late afternoon. I called the after hours number and Jordan answered promptly. He said he could be at the house to take a look after putting his young children to bed later in the evening. We decided that although the main living area was 29C, the basement was cool enough for sleeping and to get by, so we cancelled the service appointment. We then called on Monday morning and Jordan was able to come just after noon. When he uncovered the AC unit, there was a bees nest inside and unfortunately Jordan did get stung. However, he bundled up in a thick hoodie (in 31C weather) and replaced the broken capacitor which fixed the AC unit. So, wow, this was service well above and beyond what other companies would provide, from the offer to come late in the evening, to promptly arriving on the Monday, to persevering through a nest of bees and diagnosing and fixing the AC. I can't say enough great things about Jordan and Distinct Heating & Cooling. They are simply the best !!!

Danny is excellent. He has installed 2 hot water tanks for us at 2 different homes. We needed a larger tank for a rental property and Danny was able to come right away and scope out the work. For the 60 gal. larger tank, he needed to remove some of the inside door casing to get the tank in (and replaced after). The 40 gal smaller tank was then installed in our condo on the same day. He always answers his phone and he will get the job done quickly and professionally. He also assessed at no charge our jetted tub motor not working but referred this to a jetted tub specialist who he said could get the job done quicker as he had available parts. Danny is our go-to guy for all our plumbing needs. No need to go anywhere else. Highly recommended !

We had just purchased our condo (~1500 sq. ft) and needed a complete interior overhaul. Jeff had been hired by the Condo Board to do the exterior paint work so we asked if he could do our interior work. This included: - removing the popcorn ceiling, patching and doing a level 4 (and 5 in places) drywall finish suitable for painting - removing wallpaper, wall repair and painting - removing old carpet and old hardwood then installing new hardwood - baseboard removal and new baseboard installation - wall paint throughout, including prepping doors and trim and painting The condo is 40 years old and there was lots of tricky, finicky work. Jeff's quality of work is superb. He is very well educated/informed about what he does and will explain the process very clearly. He stands by "Do it right the first time". When any decisions need to be made he will talk with you about options rather than just proceeding on his own. He even helped choose our baseboards and wall paint color as the wife and I couldn't agree. Honestly, the place looks fantastic. We are very happy/satisfied. If you want lasting quality you'll be happy with, go with Forte/Jeff.
