The lights above my sink just quit so my best guess was that the transformer probably died. I like to use local companies whenever possible and I found the listing for Expert Electric in our area telephone book. I checked the BBB listing and proceeded to set up an appointment. The call was answered by a person, not a machine, handled in a very professional manner and I was given an 8 a.m. appointment for the very next morning.
The electrician, James Murphy was very considerate. He called me first, while on route, to tell me he was 20 minutes away giving me time to wake up.
He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a written quote which I immediately accepted. He didn't have the parts in his inventory so proceeded with the rest of his calls and comitted to returning (with the parts) on his way home, at the end of the day.
He returned, as promised. This being Saturday 5:30 p.m., no less. He proceeded with efficiency, the whole time explaining to me what caused the problem and why and what to consider in the future.
I have dealt with many contractors and service persons over the years and this was absolutely the best experience from beginning to end.
Need an electrician...call Expert Electric. They service a large portion of the lower mainland. Http://www.expertelectric.ca
