We needed to re-shingle the roof and contacted J. Stewart Roofing Ltd. via reputation. John was very personable and reasonable to deal with through the assessment/quote process. John took photos of the existing roof and pointed out where the issues where and shared them with me. We were looking for a more durable and longer lasting shingle than what we had. John offered an option that we liked and his crew had been certified by the manufacturer to install the roofing materials--which meant better warranty protection for me. John and I communicated mainly through email and that process worked well for answering questions and scheduling the job. We had leeway, but a definite time window that we wanted to work with. John was able to accommodate our project within that window, even with the unseasonably wet spring that we had this year. John's crew showed up on time and was very professional, friendly and task-focused. They did a nice job. John took care of some specialty work to protect a chimney area from becoming a potential leak problem. The crew cleaned up every speck once the job was complete. John came by and did a qc check and took after photos, which he shared with us. If you are looking for a quality roofing solution and a reasonable contractor and crew to deal with, then seriously consider J. Stewart Roofing. Up-front, John may not be the cheapest roofer around, but in the long run, it will be money in bank for you if you choose him.
