We highly recommend Squeak Knights. When we bought a house, we decided to replace the carpets on the first floor with wood flooring. We carefully screwed in the subflooring to the joints just before the new flooring was to be installed. Low and behold, even after we put screws everywhere, there was an entire room that was squeaking and creaking like crazy, worse than before the screw went in. In a panic, since the flooring company was coming the next day, we called Squeak Knights and I spoke to Lev, the mastermind behind the business. He tried his best to accommodate our situation. He even had his schedule re-aranged to personnaly come and not only evaluate the situation but also work to fix it. We worked on 4 areas where the squeaks and creaks were the worse and we could not believe it when the squeaking and creaking was gone. We thought that Lev must be some sort of magician! However, he is very knowledgeable and by the sound of the squeaking and cracking he was able to pinpoint the source of the noise and apply a fix. It was amazing to see and experience. We tought that squeaking and creaking noise is something you simply have to live with. However, we now know that this is not the case and before we replace the carpet on the stairs with hardwood, we will definitely call Squeak Knights to help with the squeaking and creaking steps.
