C.B Klugh in Oakville

I called this company yesterday because my fireplaces not working properly. He did find a problem and gave me a solution. What we needed was a remote control kit. He explained the cost of those. Its about $500 - 700. I thought it is really expensive for that, but didnt really know the regular price. So I bought it from him and paid $786 plus tax and installation. After he left, I searched Amazon the same device . Surprisingly I found that you can get it for the lowest $67, the highest $123 at most. He charged me about 10 times more. That is ridiculous! He could have suggested that its available in Amazon for the lower price. So I called him back for returning the kit. I didnt want him to get in the house because its unnecessary to have him detach the kit from the fireplace and this is not a service call. I just wanted my money back. If he gave me a reasonable price, I didnt need to go through this. Waste of my time.

I had two windows, sliding patio doors and the main entrance doors installed by Sears last year. The workman ship was so poor. The cold air was blowing in from the underneath of the door. The window's paint was chipping off after 6months. I complained about the problems, but they are so slow reacting to these. The problems are still not completely solved yet after one year later today. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am currently looking for a reliable window company.
