I recently had a humidifier installed to my furnace. I awarded the project to City Energy Heating and Cooling and I am glad I did. Bahador and Hamid came over at the agreed upon day and time and quickly and efficiently installed the unit. They also did a thorough inspection of my furnace just to make sure that I won't have any problems this coming winter. Great service and people. I would recommend them without hesitiation.

When we bought our house in 2012 we decided to have the base of the exterior parged. After a thorough search on HomeStars we decided to award the project to Three Little Pigs masonry. They were a little bit more expensive than their competitors but had the best warranty -- an impressive 10 years. During my spring inspection of our house, I noticed that some of the parging had started to crack. I contacted Three Little Pigs and Rob came out to have a look. He took full ownership of the defective workmanship. He even pointed out smaller cracks on another wall and said that he would fix those as well. It's nice to know that there are still companies out there who honor their warranties. With Three Little Pigs, it is "etched in stone." We needed to replace our downspout because the seams split from the freezing and thawing of the collected water that had nowhere to go because the opening was buried under snow and ice. We contacted North Shore Eavestrough and they quickly came over and gave us a quote on a few options. They never tried to upsell us and answered all our questions. We are very happy with their work and they left the area as they found it, with no debris for me to clean up. I was told that our current eaves were in good shape and should last a few more years -- we appreciate the honesty. When the time comes to replace all our eaves we will definitely use North Shore again. They are nice and honest people to deal with. George

One day after moving in to our resale house we discovered that the A/C wasn't working. We had known this going in before we purchased the house that the A/C and furnace would have to be replaced soon (25 years old). We just didn't anticipate that it was going to be this soon. We contacted a few companies that were highly recommended on Homestars and had them come over and give us an assessment and quotation on our heating and cooling needs. We decided to go with Reliable as Dave (owner) seemed to be the most honest and straightforward in addition to be slightly less expensive than the others for the same equipment. After settling on the price, we were anxious to have the units installed. My wife and I were thinking that it would take at least a few days to have a team come by. To our surprise, he said that he could send out a team the "NEXT DAY". We were thrilled as we were right smack in the middle of another heat wave. Sure enough, the next day Jamie and Rob arrived with a new A/C and furnace in tow. Dave the owner even upgraded my A/C unit to 2.5 tonnes without charge. He said that it would be more suitable for the size of home we had. The installers did a great job installing the units and offered practical and creative solutions to any problems that came up. They left the place neat and tidy as would be expected by any reputable company. Did I mention that they worked until 11:00 p.m. that night to complete the install and without any complaints on one of the hottest days of the year? Great service, price and great people -- that's COOL!

I was in need for a reliable tree service company and after reading so many great reviews on Homestars, decided to give the Re:Leaf Group a try. Andrew came by on the Sunday to give me a quote and I awarded him the project. He said that he wouldn't be able to get to the job until Wednesday of the upcoming week. To my surprise, he and his partner showed up on Monday afternoon (2 days early) and was done in about 3.5 hours. They did a terrific job removing unwanted trees, pruned the trees that I did want and left the area very tidy. They even cut down a tree that my neighbour wanted removed without any advance notice. They did all of this on one of the hottest days of the year without a single complaint. They were very professional and courteous and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use their service again in the future.
