One day after moving in to our resale house we discovered that the A/C wasn't working. We had known this going in before we purchased the house that the A/C and furnace would have to be replaced soon (25 years old). We just didn't anticipate that it was going to be this soon.
We contacted a few companies that were highly recommended on Homestars and had them come over and give us an assessment and quotation on our heating and cooling needs.
We decided to go with Reliable as Dave (owner) seemed to be the most honest and straightforward in addition to be slightly less expensive than the others for the same equipment.
After settling on the price, we were anxious to have the units installed. My wife and I were thinking that it would take at least a few days to have a team come by. To our surprise, he said that he could send out a team the "NEXT DAY". We were thrilled as we were right smack in the middle of another heat wave.
Sure enough, the next day Jamie and Rob arrived with a new A/C and furnace in tow. Dave the owner even upgraded my A/C unit to 2.5 tonnes without charge. He said that it would be more suitable for the size of home we had. The installers did a great job installing the units and offered practical and creative solutions to any problems that came up. They left the place neat and tidy as would be expected by any reputable company.
Did I mention that they worked until 11:00 p.m. that night to complete the install and without any complaints on one of the hottest days of the year?
