Some good, some bad, and yes would use again
Situ started on a great foot Fantastic price, good project manager, I was happy about the company I was hiring - professional. A very detailed contract followed, with a walk through so everything was understood - perfect I’ll jump to the end first - the work that was done in the end, was very good, the workmanship, the quality of product used etc, fantastic everything, no complaints there - if the review was based on contract and end job only I would give 4.5 stars Where things could be better. There were a few instances where I had to ask twice if a certain paint job was finished as it looked very poorly done (streaky, missed corners), half was not completed on purpose (so that they complete when job was finished makes sense, the other kitchen ceilings for example - were simply not done properly the first 3 times) However, I must say a good thing about the company, they did a good job in fixing issues or anything that was missed Finally messy! So messy. They did put up plastic so the upstairs of my house was protected but so messy and no cleanup after the day was done. I have used other contractors before and at the end of each day they would put their tools away, sweep up, and leave the place in decent shape. With Situ. Tools were left everywhere, plugged in, paint drippings on my newly installed floor, plaster splatter everywhere after my floor was installed (both tile and laminate) - inside my new sink (which I still can't get out), on my new counter top...everywhere you can think. In the end, it was swept clean, but I spent a good amount of tie, scrapping paint drippings and taking off plaster makes from the floors. Finally, after my job was done, drywall, broken wood, paint, tools, buckets, piles of baseboard - all left in my garage. After 3 weeks, I had to make a call for them to come pick it up. So, to summarize, YES I would use them again, YES I would recommend them (I already did have them give me another quote for my parents so that should speak to the quality of work and trust I do have) Better monitoring and setting cleanliness expectations is required from the get go.
