We bought our hardwood from Hollywood Floors because they had good prices. We ordered a type of wood based on what the owner, Josey, told us. When the product arrived -- and halfway through the installation -- we discovered that it was a totally different type of wood than we'd been told (and different than what it said on our order/invoice). She outright told an untruth to us. Further, she disappeared for days -- up to a week -- without even the courtesy of returning a phone call. When she finally would call, she was full of ridiculous excuses (traffic accidents, floods, the dog ate it...) about why the work wasn't done and why the rest of our wood hadn't arrived. (We decided to overlook the wood bait-and-swap in order to just get the job done. It isn't very much fun living in a house with no floors for a month!) We then found out that she hadn't been paying her workman. That is simply appalling, since he was the only professional, puncutal, truthful part of the whole mess. Do not be lured by the prices here, it is not worth the hassle, and no one should support these terrible business practices.
