Nestor and his crew, Freddy and Jay, worked on two bathrooms. In the basement, they demolished and rebuilt the dilapidated bathroom. In the upstairs, they refreshed a worn bathroom. They were diligent, thorough, and very pleasant to work with. They worked steadily and carefully to get the job done as quickly and neatly as possible. In the basement, they removed the concrete floor so the electrician could install heating coils. They removed a worn tub and tiles to build a gorgeous tiled shower stall. They repositioned the toilet and vanity, which had been improperly placed in the original. They set a medicine cabinet and storage cabinet into the wall. then moved a wall light fixture. They repaired the ceiling around the fan. They finished with a nice paint job. Nestor searches out the products the client wants. He provided numerous tile samples from which to choose. He ensured nonslip were used on the floors. He also arranged a custom vanity and cupboard doors as I could find nothing I liked in the required size. In the upstairs bathroom, they removed random damaged tiles from the tub area. Nestor was unable to find a perfect match so they removed hidden tiles from behind the toilet to use in visible spaces and filled in with the slightly off colour. They caulked around the tub, replaced all the towel bars, repaired the ceiling around the exhaust fan, replaced the switch box and painted the walls and all the cabinets. The bathroom looks like new. Pricing is fair. Nestor quotes for labour and some basic supplies which is the approximate cost I have included. The client chooses tiles and fixtures separately so you choose your own price point. Over the years weve had many excellent contractors and service people, and a few duds work in our house. Nestor, Freddy, and Jay may well be the best of the best.

Phong returned recently to repair a hole left in our brick wall by appliance installers. Last fall, he tuckpointed and replaced bricks, repaired extensively and thoroughly the parging on a stone rubble foundation, and replaced the broken lintel on a second storey window with a high quality limestone piece. Of the estimators engaged, Phong was the most observant and exacting in his estimate. On the job, he and his mason took care of the work site and worked carefully and methodically. When he was packing up at the end of the job, he noticed a patch at the front for which I had not asked for an estimate. He repaired the area immediately at no additional charge. Phong has already done two jobs for us. Should we need additional work, we will call him.

We had our well-worn, 29-year old honey oak kitchen refaced. The work included moving a peninsula against a wall, and some additional plumbing and electrical work for which Canlik supplied the tradesmen. The job went well. I now have the kitchen I wanted. Victor did the initial assessment and estimates. He explained the process, and the materials Id need to get the look I wanted. Simon did the on-site estimates and general contracting. He had a number of excellent suggestions for pot drawers, an integrated sink using Corian countertops, (photo), and upgraded hinges to prevent gouging on pantry doors. He even provided new doors for an under stairs living room closet. The kitchen installer, the countertop installer, the plumber, and the electrician completed their jobs competently and thoroughly. We are truly pleased with the work done by Canlik Kitchens.

Dear Kathleen,

Thank you for your nice review. It is wonderful to hear that you now have "the kitchen that I wanted". You have made excellent decisions on the materials, color and choices. I particularly like your decision on using Corian as the counter top material. Since it is seamless, it can eliminate all the joints in the turns. The sinks in the corner are all integrated with the counter top. It works perfectly in your kitchen situation. I am pleased to know that you are happy with our trade persons as well.

On behalf of the Canlik team and staffs, I sincerely wish you have wonderful time in the wonderful kitchen in many many years to come. Looking forwards to serving you, your family and your friends in the future.

Thank you again and God Bless.
