two projects: Total rebuild, and refresh
Nestor and his crew, Freddy and Jay, worked on two bathrooms. In the basement, they demolished and rebuilt the dilapidated bathroom. In the upstairs, they refreshed a worn bathroom. They were diligent, thorough, and very pleasant to work with. They worked steadily and carefully to get the job done as quickly and neatly as possible. In the basement, they removed the concrete floor so the electrician could install heating coils. They removed a worn tub and tiles to build a gorgeous tiled shower stall. They repositioned the toilet and vanity, which had been improperly placed in the original. They set a medicine cabinet and storage cabinet into the wall. then moved a wall light fixture. They repaired the ceiling around the fan. They finished with a nice paint job. Nestor searches out the products the client wants. He provided numerous tile samples from which to choose. He ensured nonslip were used on the floors. He also arranged a custom vanity and cupboard doors as I could find nothing I liked in the required size. In the upstairs bathroom, they removed random damaged tiles from the tub area. Nestor was unable to find a perfect match so they removed hidden tiles from behind the toilet to use in visible spaces and filled in with the slightly off colour. They caulked around the tub, replaced all the towel bars, repaired the ceiling around the exhaust fan, replaced the switch box and painted the walls and all the cabinets. The bathroom looks like new. Pricing is fair. Nestor quotes for labour and some basic supplies which is the approximate cost I have included. The client chooses tiles and fixtures separately so you choose your own price point. Over the years weve had many excellent contractors and service people, and a few duds work in our house. Nestor, Freddy, and Jay may well be the best of the best.
