We replaced our 20 year old gas furnace with a cold climate air source heat pump with back up gas furnace this past summer as part of the Canada Greener Homes Program and would highly recommend Buttons Heating and Air Conditioning! Jason was our main point of contact who came to measure and provide the quote. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about heat pumps and the Canada Greener Homes Program itself. Having previously worked as a technician himself, Jasons detailed explanations really put us at ease about making such a large financial decision. Having experienced the benefits of the heat pump in both the summer and winter, we couldnt be happier with our decision to choose Buttons. The temperature in the house is noticeably more even, the heat pump is much quieter than our old AC/furnace, and the smart thermostat is very user friendly. We cannot say enough good things about Buttons and would recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done!

We had our attic insulation topped up as a part of the Canada Greener Homes Program and Mark was fantastic to deal with! He answered all of our questions and explained step by step how it all worked - from the materials that would be used, to how many workers would be doing the work, to how long it would take to finish the job. Communicating with Mark and scheduling the initial inspection plus the day of the work was seamless. The men - Akeem and Michael - who came were friendly, polite, prompt. They laid down sheets to cover and protect the area theyd be working in and neatly cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. They were both knowledgeable about attic insulation and answered any questions we had on the day of. We had a great experience working with Envirotech Insulation and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done!

We replaced our 20 year old builder grade windows this summer as part of the Canada Greener Homes Program and would highly recommend Fortress Windows and Doors for the job! Steve and Richard came out to measure all our windows and provided a timely quote. As we had a few other retrofits planned, they were very accommodating with scheduling. We found both Steve and Richard to be friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, explaining to us how the process worked, providing general lead times, and what to expect the day of installation. The 2 men who came to install the windows were professional, efficient, and cleaned up neatly after the work was completed as scheduled. The new high-quality windows have made such a difference on maintaining the temperature inside the house - keeping the suns rays out in the summer and providing excellent heat retention in winter! Richard was very responsive and patiently addressed our questions before, during, and after the job was completed. We had asked if it was possible for the existing California shutters to be reinstalled after the new windows were put in so Richard and Steve made it happen! We cannot say enough good things about working with Steve and Richard and will be reaching out again when we get around to replacing our doors. We would highly recommend Fortress Windows & Doors to anyone looking for a job well done!
