We recently performed a complete master en-suite remodel by M&D buildings and are very happy with the end results. From initial consultation to final inspection, it has been a great experience. We initially looked at 6 contractors and M&D was not the most expensive, nor the cheapest, but we felt like they provided the greatest value of everyone we saw. Their reviews and portfolio were the best of the bunch. Mike is very easy going which removes much of the stress from a major remodel. He was extremely responsive, responding to texts, emails and phone calls immediately. The project was completed in 8 days, which was ahead of schedule and on budget. The team was very professional, laying down tarps and plastic over the floors and furniture. Each day ended with the team removing all tarps and vacuuming the entire site and common areas. The team arrived on time every day and worked 12 hour days. They were all very professional and address any concerns we had. The trades people are very skilled and you can tell they take pride in their work, focusing on the details to make sure everything is done right. The end result is a gorgeous reno, which we are very happy with. I highly recommend M&D Building if you are considering a renovation. We look forward to engaging Mike and his team for our future renovations.

I wish working with every contractor was as easy and worry free as Value Windows and Doors. We interviewed with 6 different contractors before settling on Value Windows and Doors. Before we even got the price, I already knew Value Windows and Doors was the company I wanted to partner with for such an important renovation. From the beginning Daniel, Theresa and Margaret were fantastic in terms of responsiveness, professionalism and friendliness. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and provided many suggestions on design changes to improve the quality of our house regarding windows and doors. They were the only contractor to provide a highly detailed, professional quote on the initial visit - very impressive considering the size of the job. The final price was very competitive, especially when you consider the quality of the product and installation. The installation team, lead by Mitch and Martin completed the entire job in 2 days with a team of 4. They were very efficient as well as thorough. They answered all of my questions and did an excellent job. They took extra care in cleaning up the site, leaving it the way they found it. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the end product and would not hesitate to recommend Value windows and doors to anyone interested in new window or door installations. Our new windows and doors are gorgeous and we feel like we have a brand new home. Thank you so much VWD.

I would not hesitate to recommend EcoComfort Insulation. In fact I have already recommended them to 4 others. From the initial quote to completion, all members of the team were courteous and professional. Wojtek came for the initial estimate. He used a laser to measure the attic and did an inspection. While the original installer labeled the attic as having R38, over time the blown cellulose was now closer to R20. Wojtek mentioned that they put baffles between every available rafter and would top it up to R60. The price was competitive and Wojtek was knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. The install team came a couple of weeks later. It was a team of 3 and took them 2.5 hours. They also noticed that the bathroom exhaust fans were not sealed properly, causing leakage into the attic. They fixed that as well for no charge. In the end they cleaned up and vacuumed after themselves. I am very happy with their work. Below are before and after pics. The Red line in the before pic shows how much insulation was added. They also added batt insulation to the hatch and sealed the opening.

Brad and his partner did a fantastic job removing my tree that has been affected by the emerald ash borer. The tree was about 35 feet tall and 20 feet wide. They were in and out within 2 hours and did a thorough clean up. The time from when I first reached out to Brad to completion of the job was less than 1 week. Their prices were very competitive and communication throughout the whole process was fantastic. Brad was extremely professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

John installed 2 solatubes and a Solar Star Attic Fan two years ago in our house. He did a fantastic job. The whole experience from the quote, to the explanation of features, to the installation and follow up was more than I could ask for. His prices were also much beter than competitors. John even paid us a follow up visit early this year to make sure things were ok. Additionally the difference the product makes in adding natural light to our once dark hallway is fantastic.
