We needed to move a heavy water heater from our main floor to our basement. We called Macho Movers because they had 5-star reviews and we hoped for a 5-star experience. Because our move was so small (one item, one floor) and the move only took 10 minutes, we organized a time for when the movers were already in our area. The receptionist we booked with said this would help avoid the travel costs of the movers typically charge as part of their quote. The two blokes that were here were very nice. They were respectful and got the job done in 10 minutes! Then they charged us $300!! Which included the cost of the movers return trip. Not what we agreed upon. They seemed to be completely unphased that they were being paid twice for their return: once by client for whom they were already in the area doing work and once by us. When bringing this up with the receptionist we booked with, her response was, "I don't know what to tell you. My estimate was perfect". Unfortunately, I would never book with Macho Movers again or recommend them simply because of the lack of professionalism and the dishonesty when booking.

Thank you for your call today!
We have you booked on Friday, , with your crew set to begin heading to your location from their previous service in Orangeville at approximately 4:30 PM which will begin the billable hours for your service. They will call you at 437-235-4802 to let you know that they are finished and on their way to 283161 County Road 10. Please relay any specialty driving/parking instructions to your driver at that time if needed.

We were about 30 minutes away by truck, on the far side of Orangeville and you were in Grand Valley. We did in fact make this as cheap as possibly for you as normally we have minimums to come out regardless of the job. A job like this would normally have a $500 minimum charge.
