What sets Ajax apart is that they are super responsive, super skilled and they truly care! We were out of town for a week and when we got home, we saw there was a big leak in our ceiling ... the damage must have happened several days before when it rained. Our challenge was that we were only back for a day and had to leave town again. What to do? We couldn't leave the house this way as some big snow and rain were on its way. Lucky for us, Ajax Roofing came to the rescue! Even though we were outside of their typical service area Travis dispatched someone to arrive within 90 minutes to take a look. Bradley quickly climbed the roof and professionally diagnosed the issue. To our utter delight he said I think I can fix it today, as long as I can get the parts needed around the skylight. So he raced off and 20 minutes later he was back, and within an hour everything was fixed and we could leave. We couldnt be happier nor more thankful! The added complication was that Since we couldnt leave a hole in the roof, one of us was going to have to stay behind to deal with the rainy consequences (and buckets) and wait til we could get someone to fix it. Travis, the owner said to me I didnt want your partner to have to wait around in Toronto for a couple of days and need to take a train to join you out of town. So I prioritized you even though others needed us too today. What a guy! What a company! I cant speak more highly of them. They are fantastic, and they literally came to our rescue!

Great service and expertise. Matthew came in to look at our 23 year old dryer and fixed it within 30 minutes. I would definitely trust Pro Appliance. They won't try to sell you something new unless they really think you need it. He said our dryer will be good for many years to come! I really appreciate their integrity.

We've always wanted our backyard lit up, but something always got in the way: Cost, How to design it, What light fixtures are best, and Who can we trust - for both electrical and aesthetic matters? Lucky for us, we finally found Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and the rest is history! They are fantastic & have exceeded our expectation on all fronts!!! From their know-how, design, and amazing service ... to their products, promptness, and price. Most importantly We LOVE the Final Results and, it truly feels like that's what matters most to them too. I can't speak highly enough about Pamela and her team - they truly deserve an 11 out of 10 rating!

We were really impressed with the Finer Edge from start to finish. It started with the professionalism of Gordon who came by to do a quote for us. I was originally only thinking of Finer Edge for a couple of key interior walls, where top quality skills are vital. I had already selected a company to do the exterior painting, thinking that I might not be able to afford Finer Edge for exterior work as well. However Gordon wanted the challenge to see if he could come in with a competitive quote for us for the exterior work too and he did! We were delighted because we wanted the best painters in the city. What I didn't expect is that for such a competitiive quote, we would also have such great project management and hands-on attention paid to us. After Gordon, came Colin who met with us to get the right paint and colour matching. Then came Luigi who was the project manager in charge of our job. They both communicated promptly and regularly with us to ensure that everything was in place for our job, and that everything was going well. Then a crew of 4 showed up led by Tony, to do the actual painting. Their work, professional, and care speaks for itself. They did an excellent job! We were delighted not only with their work (prep and painting) but what nice guys they all were. Luigi, and Tony and his crew clearly take a lot of pride in their work and made sure we were happy. Tony even surprised us by painting 2 flower boxes that we had to match the exterior paint. I had asked Tony if he could leave me some paint so I could do it myself but by the next morning it was already done by him. What more can I say? Finer Edge is a class act from top to bottom, from start to finish. We will definitely use them again when we need other paint work.

It was a very cold, wintery day and our furnace was on its last legs. Christmas was right around the corner so I called Lucy at Heating Plus late Friday afternoon (finding them on Homestars). She was very helpful and within 2 hours a technician came. We had never done any furnace maitenance for 15 years and so Angel spent 2 hours cleaning every part hoping to extend it's life. He got it operating but by Saturday morning it had still conked out. I called Lucy at 7am Saturday morning and within 2 hours, Paul, the owner came and diagosed the problem: a new motor to extend its life or a new high efficiency furnace. We went with the new furnace with $1000 in rebates and 20-30% saving on our energy bills. Heating Plus was amazing, they installed the new furnace the next day - Sunday! Paul gave us space heaters to keep our house warm over the next 24 hours and he cancelled the fee we should have paid for Friday's maintenance. Heating Plus has also filled out all the rebate forms for us, arranged for an energy audit to be done (so we could qualify for the rebates), and then came back the following Friday during a snowstorm to pick up our old furnace (once the audit was done). In short they were amazing from Lucy to Angel to Paul. You couldn't ask for better service, expertise and value. I'd give them an 11 out of 10!!!
