We just completed a major porch restoration project for two large semi's that shared one large front porch and a large rail system. The previous concrete porch was severely spalling and cracking on the top, and completely deteriorating on the front since the previous rail system was bolted horizontally on the front and the freeze/thaw cycle was destroying things. I contacted four other masonry companies but decided that Kris and the Goldwell team had the best technical solution, warranty, and was very cost competitive. The job was just recently completed and it took some time, since the spring weather was not so cooperative until recently. Everything was coordinated very well and the end product looks so much better than before, two other contractors and a neighbor have remarked on how good and solid everything looks and feels. Very happy with the process from A-Z, and would definitely recommend.

Mesh did a great job in helping to make the all the style and colour choices of my new railing system and to coordinate the project. Everything was communicated well, and went off without a hitch during these Covid times. The crew executed the quality job very well, custom tailoring and fine tuning to the space and existing structures, and were diligent about setup and cleanup. The railing overall improves the look of the living/dining room, and is sturdy which is what I wanted, and it was achieved. I definitely recommend these guys, thanks again for the great job!

Working with Josh (sales manager) and Dave (project manager) was a great pleasure during our large renovation project which was a complete gut-job on an old house. Things went off without a hitch. We had done our research on several companies, settled on Norseman Construction and were extremely pleased with their process and beautiful results. They were patient, detailed oriented and did fantastic quality work, going the extra mile and delivering creative solutions in times where and when needed. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Things were explained in detail and we could sleep well at nights, knowing where things were at, at all times through their updates. They had great tasteful ideas in places where choices could be made and executed on budget, on time and with excellent results. I would highly recommend Norseman Construction going forward.

I chose Modern Pro Contracting over a couple other contractors that had high ratings on Homestars. Great design and layout ideas, detailed and experienced thought process, flexible, professional team approach. Very happy with the results which were on time, on budget, and exceeded the original specs on the quote; they went the extra mile. In addition to the remodelling, had to update electrical and rework plumbing. Workmanship was great, overall a wonderful job. Currently engaging them on another more complex project that requires structural engineering.

I had a major leak develop in my old gutter system and some other small leaks. As well, my rear gutter collected a lot of leaves from some tall old trees. I also only had two downspouts, so during heavy rains, water would overflow. Time to get some new eavestroughs! Stas did a great job making a recommendation to double the number of downspouts to prevent this overflow and create a slight bow in the eavestroughs so the rain water would be divided in two. He and his colleague did a great job replacing my old gutters with a new, more effective system that solved a few problems. I definitely recommend Stas and Maxima Aluminum. My older fridge/freezer was making very loud noises and eventually something sounded like it died over the weekend. I called JSN and Sam referred me to Ayman. Ayman did a great job of diagnosing the problem which turned out to be the thermometer sensor whose failure created a cascading effect of problems (defroster/heater shutdown which then lead to a buildup of frost/ice which in turn stopped the fan, and thus refrigeration of contents). Ayman also walked me through the job and explained what was going on which I found reassuring. The repair price was a small fraction of what it would have cost to purchase a new fridge, which I was also considering but heard on the news that older fridges are more reliable. As it turns out, Ayman mentioned "old is gold" when it comes to fridges since newer models are more complicated, break down more frequently, and are more costly to repair that older ones. Overall, I'm very happy with the excellent job that Ayman did and will refer him, and JSN to others. Great stuff guys, thanks for the great service.

My old screen door had shattered due to high winds last fall. Alex had figured out that my front door also needed replacement as the seal was broken. I had found that out over the winter as it was the first one without the screen door and there was a noticeable draft from a corner of the door. Gabriel did great work on the installation. He was an expert craftsman fine tuned things to work perfectly. Overall, dealing with them was a pleasure and their objective to exceed expectations was met. I am very satisfied with the work, highly recommend them, and will recommend them to others. Thanks for the great job guys.

Robert and Nick did an excellent emergency job on my kitchen faucet. They identified and effectively resolved several issues with an old plumbing system under my kitchen sink. I was working on replacing my faucet when the hot water line broke, causing a major flood which went into the basement. I called Mr. Rooter and Robert and Nick showed up very quickly. The repair and replacement job they did was quality work, done the right/proper way, done with future safety in mind, and was clean. They were very helpful, experienced and communicated well. Now I have better water pressure and a much better kitchen plumbing setup - and peace of mind. I will highly recommend Robert and Nick and Mr. Rooter to family, friends and acquaintances.
