I did not select Ideal Stairs, however they were an excellent company to work with. Clearer explaining what needs to happen. My initial contractor was an epic failure of bait and switch.

As a senior living alone I needed a railing on basement stairs for safety.
I went on Homestars and found great reviews for ideal stairs. Called the company and talked to Mesh who understood exactly what I needed..
Within a week the company sent out two workers who did a great job, they cleaned up everything when finished.
I am very happy and feel much safer using the stairs now.

I hired Ideal Stairs to replace the original, 60-year-old iron and vinyl railing at my parents' home because they were no longer safe.

I cannot say enough about Ideal Stairs and their service. I am so pleased They communicated with me about start date and also called to confirm.
They came with their drop sheet to protect the floor and also vacuumed everything al the end of their job. The team was very good and you could see the took pride in their job. You would not know they replaced new spindles on top of existing carpet. They also finished off the bannister from brown to a nice black.
