I had my roof re-shingled by Torcan Group about one week ago. When Andrew came to give me an estimate I was pleasantly surprised at how congenial, professional and thorough he was. He went on the roof and even took pictures of some oddities. Once he did this he came inside and went over the whole process in detail including what extra work would have to be done to ensure that the oddities were handled properly. He gave me an estimate on the spot. Not like some others that I got estimates from that came, looked, went away and then sent me an estimate. They did not explain any thing nor hardly talked to me. Andrew is not just a sales person. On the day of the install he was on the roof with his crew working and supervising making sure that every thing was done according to what we had agreed upon. It took him a bit longer to do one of the oddities but he didn’t skimp on time or material in order to make sure that it was leak proof. He even took pictures and showed me what was done. I was very appreciative of this as some years ago we had a leak in this particular area with the water coming through the ceiling into the house. Andrew price is reasonable. He may not be the cheapest but the cost warrants the work done. I did not get estimates from any fly by night contractors so his price was inline or cheaper that other estimates I received. From talking to Andrew I got the idea that he enjoys what he does and feels that he is helping people by providing them with the best service that he can. He is proud of his work and so he should be. I would highly recommend Torcan Group and will definitely use them again when needed. I couldn’t be happier and am very thankful that I came across Andrew and Torcan group.

For several years now I've had the pilot light off on one of my gas fireplaces. During the ice storm this year I tried to turn the fireplace on but the igniter wouldn't work. I thus decided that I'd better get the fireplace fixed. I checked Homestars, found Imran and liked the reviews that others had written. Imran came and fixed the problem and serviced my old fireplace. It is now working perfectly and looks brand new even though it is over 20 years old. He also told me that he could change the sensor but there is no point in incurring the extra cost at this point. Imran is honest, does the work well and cleanly, and his prices are reasonable. I will be using his services again as I have another fireplace that needs to be serviced (he couldn't to it today as it was on) and will also use him for yearly maintenance.
