I hired Victor to repair our front and back porches, including the installation of some customized millwork (curved rails and curved spindles), replacing stairs and straight rails, as well as rotted floor boards. Victor and his crew did a fantastic job. Carpentry requires a good amount of planning, revising, replanting all before the wood is cut, and you could see Victor working it out, making sure it was done right and done well. I was particularly pleased with the front stair and stair rail installation, which looks attractive even though we had not yet stained and painted it. He was also sure to cost necessary parts in wood preservative, primed the pine, and leave the treated lumber to set for the winter. Schedule-wise, he also worked with us - he got the back porch done, but the millwork set us back 3 months, and he worked out his schedule so he could get it done before these fall rains. We became concerned with a smell that came into our house, we think from the basement. We contacted Valentin of Strong Plumbing, and within 30 minutes, we had arranged a meeting for the next morning. Valentin came out to our home, conducted a video feed of our main outtake pipe and helped us investigate the issue. We appreciated his speed and the knowledge he provided!

The second time I've used Mr. Roof Repair, and Joe (who coordinated the repair) and Jason (who did work with a partner) both stood out as exhibiting great customer service. The work looked done well, was explained to me, and pictures were taken so that I could see its improvement (especially important in hard-to-see places like third floor roofs). They dealt with my neighbors - who had concerns - in a considerate way. They also came back twice to ensure place and space were properly cleaned up! Excellent work by this group.

Last week, Templar Mould Removal removed moldy drywall from three basement walls and did an exceptional job. The basement looks clean and no longer are were burdened by its presence - the work was complete in 24 hours and relative to other quotes I received, this was by far the most competitive rate, in comparison to two other homestar companies. The folks doing the work were thoughtful and considerate, and took pains to explain the different stages of work and to help me understand what it was they were doing. The job was a long one, and they worked late to finish, but were considerate of neighbors and my kids who went to bed before they finished.

We wanted to better waterproof our basement, and interviewed a couple of waterproofing specialists. We decided to hire Vlad to do the job in part because he gave us confidence that he understood potential sources of water damage (which he backed up with evidence), and in part because he offered a reasonable price for the job. The job that he and his team completed left us feeling comfortable that it was done well. They got started under short notice, the got the job done in a reasonable time window, and Vlad was always available to take my calls. I would definitely use Vlad and his crew again.

On Monday last week they installed three hanging light fixtures, replaced a switch, and confirmed that wiring was working properly. Not only that they are friendly and considerate, and listened to my concerns. They did the above work in just two hours time. I would definitely recommend their work.

Alex and his co-worker were hired to do a number of different electrical tasks around the house and in less than three hours accomplished all of them. Each task was conducted thoroughly, cleanly, and quickly. I got the sense that he really care about the quality he puts into his work and it showed.
