do not hire stan gordon

Hello, As noted by other reviewers, Stan Gordon was unreliable. We were confident he would do a good job but he would not show up when he said he would. He kept making excuses. He would not return phone calls until weeks later. He said the job was a quick one and he would take few days. We payed him deposit in December 2008. And its now June 2009 and he has not completed it! we even had to hire a new plumber to re-wire the plumbing (he made a mistake). He kept increasing the cost of materials - it ended up being about 50% more then he originally quoted! When he needed money, he would always be there when he said he would. At this point, we haven't heard from him for 1 month since we paid an additional $500. He has grouting and tiling a wall in the showers left. I'm really shocked because I found him on Holmes on Holmes. If anyone has a contact to Holmes on Holmes to file a complaint - please post here! (there is only a feed form to fill out) But again, I really advise NOT hiring Stan Gordon - and if you do - make really firm start and finish dates and don't pay so much money upfront.
