I used Peter and Greg Walker Contracting for a new roof based upon their reputation. I now know why their reputation in my neighbourhood is sterling. Great communication from everyone in their company. They came out to assess my needs quickly and efficiently. Estimate was provided quickly. The work itself was great. The crew were timely, professional, neat, and cleaned everything up well at the end of the job. The price was fair and I have confidence in the job they did.

Atiar came exactly when he said he would. He called first which was great. I have a Samsung dryer which was 1 month past warranty. After hearing the noise it was making, he said it was one of three things and that it could be costly. He recommended I call Samsung and try to get them to send one of their technicians out and get it covered under warranty. He also took a look at a Marvel beverage fridge that isn't working and said he would see if he could get a part and he would get back to me. Atiar would not take any money--not even a call out fee--since he thought it would be better for me to call Samsung for warranty repair. I tried to give him something and he refused. So impressed with his professionalism. Fingers crossed he will be able to repair the Marvel fridge. Thanks Atiar!

Wow. Just Wow. I have found a new appliance repair company! Kevin just left my home and I was completely impressed with his professionalism. He was very kind and polite. In an industry that takes it's share of criticism, he shines like a star. I will only use this company for my future repair needs. I just hope I get Kevin every time. I trusted his judgement completely. Thank you Appliance Service Experts!

Imran is as great as these reviews suggest. I should have called him 3 months ago. When we turned our gas fireplace on this winter, the pilot light went out an hour later. We couldn't get the fireplace to turn back on. I haven't tried since. The fireplace is 6 years old and has never been serviced so thought I should get someone in to take a look at it. Finally I called Imran (who I found on Homestars). The fireplace turned on immediately for him and I felt stupid for calling him. He thinks a gust of wind must have blown out the pilot light. BUT, he did not make me feel stupid. I got a great lesson on how our fireplace works. He also pointed out some installation issues whereby we are going to have problems in the future if/when the unit needs replacing. Great, informative service call! I wouldn't dream of calling anyone else.

I hired Dennis to work with Toronto Hydro in upgrading our service from 100 amp to 200 amp. Most of the wiring work had been done when we renovated 3 years ago. I hired Global Works Electric to work with Toronto Hydro when the actual new power cables were being installed into the meter. Although Toronto Hydro was a nightmare to deal with (showing up 2+ hours late etc), Dennis was punctual and patient. His estimate was bang-on. He came with an employee, Mike--both were professional and a pleasure to have working at our home. They did a neat and tidy job and cleaned up afterwards. They were very experienced in the work that needed to be done AND in working with Toronto Hydro which was very helpful given how unreliable they were. I have a child with special needs and Dennis was unbelievably accommodating. I would recommend Dennis to anyone.
