Basement sprung what looked to be a pretty bad leak from a water supply line. Called Alex right away and he was able to send somebody in about an hour. Will showed up promptly, diagnosed and quickly fixed the problem. It turned out to be a minor issue but Will's personable, measured approach is greatly appreciated. All this during the COVID pandemic. P.S. Will was cognizant of the containment measures. He wore a face mask and made sure no one had traveled within the last 14 days.

We had a kitchen faucet with very low pressure. John is soft spoken but his work speaks volumes. Along with his associate, Andre, they arrived on time and were able to diagnose the problem right away - it was a faulty cartridge. Since the faucet was likely an off-brand model making replacement of the cartridge difficult, John advised to replace the faucet entirely, which he did at a reasonable cost. I would not hesitate in recommending John to anyone in need of a good, honest plumber.

I contacted Alex for a move-out deep clean of a small apartment unit and I am very glad I did. He and his associate did a very good job and exceeded my expectations. Alex was curt on the phone but in person he is very friendly. He clearly cares about the reputation of his company and goes to great length to explain the limitations of his services (e.g. cannot clean mold from shower grout) - mostly common sense but in this day and age, not so common - so as to not disappoint his customers. I highly recommend Alex and Clean House!

I had sent an open request for quotes on HomeStars and Taha from Contact Pest Control replied within the hour, which I appreciated. This is an owner-operated business and it shows. Taha was very responsive throughout and both him and his worker were professional but also personable. I did not give 5 stars for satisfaction because I was disappointed to hear that after 2 visits, the roach problem had not gone away in one of the units. They reasoned that because the tenant kept a fish tank, they did not want to spray near it, which was actually one of the problem areas. All in all, they did their best and I would highly recommend them to anybody!

I almost didn't bother to write this review because I think everyone already knows what a superstar Paul and his team is on HomeStars. If you want the job done right, don't screw around with those $69 Groupon specials and give these guys a call! The job I had for Paul (on a Saturday no less) was no picnic but he and his associate approached it with utmost professionalism and exceeded all expectations!

Our garage door wouldn't open and we didn't have an emergency release. Found Easy Flip here on HomeStars and very glad we did. Mike came over when he said he would, after calling ahead. He was efficient in getting the door opened and identifying the problem - the motherboard in the opener was fried, likely due to an electrical surge. He installed an emergency release and then came back a couple of weeks later to replace the motherboard. He also went out of his way to lubricate the tracks, fix a switch that had never worked since installation and addressing every one of my concerns. I was left a very happy customer and just wanted to show my gratitude here.

I was in a hurry to remove subjects so I came to HomeStars and found Brent. Very happy I did. Having used 3 other home inspectors in the past 2 years (for other properties), I can say that Brent is knowledgeable and very open to questions. Not only was he professional but he was very personable. He sent the report, pictures he took and a succinct summary of "fixes needed" on the same day, which helped me negotiate the sale price down another $3K.

Rick was our sales rep. When he made the sales call, we had yet to do 100% of our due diligence so we were hesitant to commit. He was personable and very persistent and at the end, he sold us on replacement doors for both our main entrance as well as our basement w/o. After the sale, Rick was very responsive and made sure we were satisfied with our decision. He even let us change the glass style/pattern (to a more expensive design) at no extra cost! Miguel was our installer. Having watched him at work, I could tell he is very experienced and skilled at his job. Miguel and his team worked promptly and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed with their workmanship and the quality of the installed product. I gave a 9/10 because I had to follow up several times with Miguel to get an update on when the doors would be ready and his availability (he had said it would take 4-5 weeks and I started inquiring after hearing nothing for 5 weeks). Also, Miguel and his team left in a hurry after the installation. Even though they did a great job, it would have been nice if he had taken the time to talk me through what they had done and gave some pointers on care/maintenance. Overall, despite a few shortcomings, I would highly recommend this company if you are thinking of replacing your exterior doors. We are very happy with our new doors – they are everything as promised, at a reasonable price too.
