AC wasn't cooling very well. Called one of the bigger HVAC repair companies that said I needed to replace the AC for $4000. 2nd opinion with Sarman - John came out, looked at it and said there was a leak. Fixed the leak, topped up the R410, cleaned the unit. Works good as new!

Was looking for someone to come service my pump - it has an alarm that sets off for various reasons. Called DryMax and they showed up early the next morning. Vasyl came by, checked my pumps, replaced a valve, cleaned up the area, explained everything to me clearly and charged a very reasonable amount. All in, very pleased with the results!

Called to get various work done around the house - Dave came by and assessed what was needed, told me where he could / could not help, provided a detailed breakdown of costs and what I should do and what could wait. So clear, didn't push me to do anything, gave me the pros and cons of doing so now or waiting. My go-to for plumbing!

Very quick turnaround - Bobby came in, estimated and got the work done within 2 days. There were a couple of minor issues once they left, nothing urgent, but Bobby treated everything as if it was. Called him and he showed up by that night to figure out the problem and had it fixed quick! Great work, great customer service - they're my new go-to team!

Found Green & Spotless on Homestars and they had outstanding reviews. Alec & Devon were great, professional. Did a walk through before and after. Very happy with the job. Had a few stains and now they are gone! Expecting a new baby in a month and they paid extra special care to the baby room! Peace of mind with a newborn on the way! Great service would recommend them to others. I really love the booties they wear when they enter the home. Thanks guys

Called George this morning, he was in and set up the BBQ by 1. He explained everything that I needed to do, obviously prompt and efficient, left me his number and encouraged me to call if I had any questions - I could not ask for anything more. Thanks!

Bought vouchers from Teambuy and made an appointment. Went very smoothly, the appointment was made, confirmed, even got a reminder email. Took the time off work to wait for the painter - no show. Called them directly, talked to the owner who assured me he'd come by Saturday at 11:30. No show. Tried to return the vouchers - of course - no luck. Burn your money if you want - or contact someone who will actually show up.

They arrived late in the day, but they did arrive on the day they promised (which is more than I can say about others). Very friendly and efficient - were organized and quickly cleaned the windows and my screens - I should have had them do the inside as well because now I can see how dirty my windows are on the inside :) Bottom line - clean windows, they came when they said they would, courteous team, no issues at all with their work. Will call them again.

You get what you pay for - I paid very little to paint my hallway and wall next to my stairs, and I should not have expected much. The work was done quickly, 2 coats in record time, but when it dried there was an obvious cut line across the wall and next to the trim. When I called I was told it was the pain that I used. I used a Dulux eggshell. According to Pro Interior 2000, even though it's sold for walls, and I bought what I thought was the best product, you should never use eggshell for a wall. Blame the material...

I had a few quotes, some higher and some lower, but looked at the work that MoonStar had completed over the last few years and liked what I saw. It's the little things - the way the edges are cut to fit in perfectly (I watched as they built the patio - there were places where they could have cut corners, put a smaller stone instead of cutting a bigger stone, but the smaller stone would not have exactly matched the pattern. So, instead, they cut the bigger stone, and it looked like it belonged there.) The team also works incredibly hard - they finished the job in record time (they work like machines, from one step smoothly to the next), even though they went through the extra effort of cleaning after themselves every night (they tidied up the stone piles, hosed down the driveway, cleaned the road from any mud - my neighbours had nothing to complain about) I had to leave town before the job was done. I paid in full and left. Came back and everything was perfect - I walked around the house again and again looking for the mistakes, the cut corners - nothing. It was as if they were working on their own house. I now notice that a lot of my neighbourhood has "MoonStar" signs up. Guess quality shows...

Had an air conditioner installed in the summer and then a humidifier installed recently. Renato came by both times and did a great job. When they came back to install the humidifier, Renato took the time to check on the air conditioner and threw on a cover to prevent future problems (something I should have done, but it slipped my mind). Renato also takes the time to call back and check up that everything is going well - and I know he'll jump in his truck and zip over if there are any problems! You have to feel comfortable that the person you hired will do a good job and won't abandon you if there are problems - that's Renato. Thanks!!!

Didn't use their service (already committed to someone else by the time we managed to speak - that the problem with voice mail :( ), but spoke to Mike who seemed very knowledgeable and was very helpful, making lots of suggestions on what I should be asking about. Even without confirming that he was getting the business he still was very helpful.

Very happy with the work Milorad did with my backsplash. Working with different tile thickness, working with glass and marble tile - not a problem. Did a great job - and, above that, punctual and cheerful!

Chris and Alejandro did an excellent job! Delivering my appliances (including a 250lb range!) around a narrow, twisting, oak staircase, without a scratch anywhere! They covered exposed wood, just in case, and even removed their shoes! Wow... Really a great job!
