We needed our wall oven repaired as it was not working properly. Used the service that Homestars provided to match you with trades people who are interested in the job. Sergei from Tander SE was first to respond and his verbal estimate was very reasonable and that he could come the next day. He arrived on time and followed the appropriate health protocols, He tried to repair the oven using existing parts in an effort to save us some money, however he could not do it so we agreed he would have to order a new control panel to fix the problem. He had the part within a few days and came back to finish the job, He completed it quite quickly and now the Oven is working properly again. I highly recommend Sergei. He is very knowlegable and efficient.

We have a 3 story home and my wife was having difficulty climbing the two flights of stairs. Did some research and settled on Stannah. From the moment I first called everything moved along quickly and very efficiently. Matthew the Mobility Sales Specialist was at our house within a couple of days of my call and I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We gave him the go ahead and he was back a few days later to take detailed measurements as the stair lift from second to third floor has to be custom made as it curves. He told us the first set would be installed in about a week and sure enough I had a call the next day from the installation manager sheduling the install for the folowing week and advised the custom set would be about five weeks which we had anticipated. On intallation day Joe arrived on time and had the lift installed in about three hours (well within the 3-5 hour window I was told it would take) Joe did a great job and cleaned up and removed all the packaging,gave me a demonstration of how it worked and left an easy to use manual and warranty documents. Lift is easy to use and fully met our expectations. We know that the second install will be just as smooth and we are eagerly looking forward to it. As Matthey said " Stair lifts turn your house into a bungalow without the hassle of moving" Could not agree more.

The hinges on our shower door had been in place for 30 years and one was badly rusted so we were afraid the door might fall and smash. Spoke to Tony at Shower Door of Canada and found him to be very accommodating. Cost for hinges,installing and rehanging door was reasonable so we gave him the go ahead. Hinges had to be ordered so it took about 10 days and then the job was scheduled for a few days after they were received. We found Calvin and Kevin who did the installation to be courteous and professional. They encountered some challenges due to the poor condition of the existing hinges but managed to successfully change the hinges without any damage to the door. The work was first class and we are very happy with the result. We highly recommend Shower Door of Canada.

After receiving a couple of quotes for brick and concrete work on the exterior of our 100 year old house we chose Steve and Mason Restoration to do the work as it was apparent he had lots of experience and gave us the confidence the job would be done professionally. Steve and his son did the job in the time frame he estimated, left the job site clean and tidy and most importantly did a first class job. The front brick work has been restored,broken and cracked bricks replaced with the matching colour and all gaps in the mortar have been filled. The concrete work at the rear has filled in all the holes and replaces crumbling concrete and bricks where the exterior walls meet the interlocking brick in the yard. The concrete looks great and gives a complete seal to the side and rear of the house. Steve did a few extra things over and beyond his original scope of work at no extra cost, like raising some of the interlocking brick that had sunk down a few inches. I would highly recommend Steve as not only is his work excellent but he also brings a personal touch that instills confidence. We are planning to have Steve back in new year to do some indoor work and in the spring for some walkway work.
