We had a leak, with water dripping through our basement drywall ceiling from our main floor bathroom. Jeff came and immediately identified the problem and solution. He installed a new gasket quickly and cleaned up. He also fixed the toilet lever at no charge. Excellent, friendly and fast service. Thank you Jeff!

Evgen arrived within one hour of my call and quickly fixed the drainage problem with my dishwasher. He answered several questions and was very knowledgeable. He also went online to locate where I could buy a new basket and roller kit for the dishwasher, which were needed. If I have a problem with any appliance in the future, I will call him.

We had water damage on our bedroom and bathroom ceilings due to a leaking roof (which we now have had re-shingled). There was also mold in the attic. Our realtor recommended Aura Restoration Services. We phoned and Steven McLean came over the next day and provided a detailed written quote by email one day later. We were impressed with the level of detail and the comprehensive approach, which included a more powerful fan for the bathroom and proper venting. Steven, Peter and Stevie worked at our home for one week during the July heat wave (much of the time spent in the hot attic) to remove the mold and insulation; install and vent a new bathroom fan; cut out the damaged drywall and replace with new drywall in the bedroom; install new insulation in the attic; and paint the ceiling. They also removed a carpenter ant colony found in the attic and did some other minor repairs as a courtesy including patching holes in the roof that had not been addressed by the roofer. We were very pleased with process and the completed work. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly – nice to have around.

Our backyard maple tree had died and needed to be removed; 4 tall spruce trees badly needed pruning; and branches needed to be removed along the fence line so our cedar tree would get enough light. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the results. The Castor Tree Care Services guys were a pleasure to have around. Excellent value for money.

We hired Lampert Renovations because they did a bathroom renovation at our previous home and have indepth experience in plumbing - we knew they would do a good job. We met with Lawrence, who did the bathroom design. The bathroom renovation was led by Henry. We were very pleased with the work - little mess, and the project was on time and on budget. The overall result is a high quality bathroom that adds value to our home. Lampert also did a small repair in our kitchen as a courtesy. We would definitely recommend them.

We recently purchased a home that looked like it needed little work until we looked at it more closely after the purchase closing date. We lined up Finer Edge to do the painting and were greatly relieved to find out that they could also do the electrical work and other renovations, and were able to recommend a firm to do the flooring work (WoodChuck Flooring).
