When we opened our doors in 1989, Founder and Master Plumber, Jeff Wright set out with the goal of helping homeowners in the greater Toronto area with their residential plumbing needs. Providing value for the customer with a respectful, professional, and quality service approach has always been his top priority from the start.

Several years after we started The Great Plumbing Co., industry was booming in the GTA and we saw an even greater need outside the residential plumbing space. Thus, we shifted our attention to provide general contracting for local business owners. Fast forward to 1999 when we took the opportunity to become involved with the city’s development, providing CCTV inspection and cleaning of large diameter sewers.

We had a sudden plumbing pipe backup. Jeff came early for the appointment and explained everything, taught us about the problem and recommended further follow up. This is the third time we've called Jeff and we've been thoroughly pleased every time. Jeff is always pleasant to deal with and we'd recommend him to everyone.

Great service, highly recommend - Faucet service in two condo bathrooms

Very satisfied. Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable and service was on schedule.

I have two Rubi bath/shower faucets that were installed about 13 years ago in two bathrooms in our condo. They recently developed a water "cross-over" issue where water from the cold water pipe at a higher pressure crossed through the faucet into the hot water line that affected not only our unit, but vertical neighbours. He repaired this by replacing the backflow prevention valves in each shower and the shower thermostatic cartridges. He also performed some other service that restored the 13 year old faucets to like-new working condition.

Excellent and comprehensive job repairing master bath shower.

Hot/cold shower control stopped working. Jeff helped identify where we could find parts, fixed the immediate problem, AND spent time troubleshooting the repair. (Flushing the toilet was causing noises from the new part which indicated a potential problem in the near future so he recommended getting a replacement). We really appreciate his thinking ahead. He has become our go-to plumber.

Jeff arrived within the promised time slot, explained the procedure and price. The operation of the valves was explained to me and they work wonderfully. Jeff also fixed the insulation around the basement valve. Good service.
