I have a century home in downtown Toronto that had plaster bugles and bubbles on an interior wall. Another trades person informed me it might be a foundation issue however, Alex reassured me that the bubbling was completely due to the moisture coming from the adjacent bathroom that did not have proper venting. He is knowledgeable, professional and competent. He repaired the plaster wall. Sanded and patched up other walls and did an excellent job painting all the rooms on the main floor as well as some plumbing in the bathroom. Alex always answered his phone and was very patient and understanding with my questions and requests. I found Alex to be honest and trustworthy and felt that his quote was fair for all the work completed. Alex, the owner, personally answered when I phoned The Toronto Plumber to set up an appointment for a quote on several plumbing repairs needed in my house. Alex arrived on time and quickly assessed my long list of plumbing issues. He was very transparent and explained in detail all the items that could be repaired and the ones that had to be replaced. He replaced the 30 year-old toilet and kitchen faucet at a fair price. He fixed the laundry faucet by replacing two cartridges, 2 seat handles, 2 adaptors and 1 oaring for only $40 and an aerator at no charge! I chose J. Stewart Roofing after having met John and his son when they came to give me a quote on replacing a flat roof over an extension. John’s comprehensive quote included a 10 year labor warranty as well as provided a detailed photo montage of the steps required to install a flat roof. I had a leak in the family room cealing and a couple of leaking faucets. Dave arrived within 30 minutes of my call to ProTex Plumbing. He resealed the bathtub drain. He needed to replaced the 26 year old water faucet in basement laundry tub. Before he started the work, he informed me of the price of the unit and labour cost. He also fixed the dripping valve for the outdoor water tap. He was professional and worked quickly and efficiently. I have already recommended Protext to a friend.

KNT Electric replaced the knob and tube electrical wiring in my century home located in Toronto's Little Italy. Bill, Tim and the dedicated team of professional electricians completed the huge electrical rewiring in the given timeline. Sam of Berg Electric personally answered his phone, gave me a fair estimate for the work to be done and always showed up on time. On the day of the installation Sam and Andy were very professional and competent and left all the work areas clean and tidy. I especially appreciated Sam's advice to install LED and CFL light bulbs to save energy and money.
